This webinar will focus on the development of a telehealth system to improve the lives of rural Nicaraguans in the communities surrounding the town of Waslala in North Central Nicaragua.
The webinar will cover the healthcare context of the region and the limitations of providing quality healthcare to these rural communities. It will examine the project's nursing component, which is focused on training community health workers to measure vital signs of community members, as well as technology, software and hardware setup for the project.

Los ciberataques han evolucionado desde el modelo amateur y romántico de sus inicios, al actual modelo consistente en amenazas dirigidas, dinámicas, persistentes y desconocidas. En la actualidad los ciberataques son capaces de propagarse por la red interna de las compañías, accediendo a información confidencial de forma sigilosa y oculta mientras extraen información crítica para las organizaciones.
Según el último informe publicado por FireEye, en promedio, las empresas experimentan un evento de malware cada tres minutos y éste elude habitualmente las defensas tradicionales tales como firewalls, firewalls de siguiente generación, IPS, antivirus y gateways de seguridad.
Conscientes de ello, S21sec y FireEye han establecido un lazo de colaboración que permite prevenir y gestionar los amenazas de próxima generación.
